ABOUT US

Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.

Why We Exist

Remember Wellness was founded in June 2024 by Preston Murray, a yoga instructor, grief recovery facilitator, and harm reduction advocate who saw a deep gap in the recovery community—especially for those seeking long-term healing rooted in compassion, community, and choice.

Too often, individuals leave treatment only to find themselves alone, unstably housed, or unsupported in early sobriety.

Remember Wellness was created to bridge that gap: not just to keep people sober, but to help them remember who they are and rebuild their lives in a home that holds them.

In June 2025, we celebrated our first birthday. Our house is alive with resident voices, shared meals, healing practices, and stories of transformation.

Our Mission

Remember Wellness Recovery Homes exist to enhance the health and wellbeing of vulnerable populations, including individuals recovering from addiction, through supportive co-living environments with a focus on personal growth and holistic, wellness-focused living.

Our Vision

We envision a world where everyone in recovery has access to safe housing, supportive community, and the tools to rebuild their lives with mindfulness, joy, and a sense of purpose.

Our Model

At Remember Wellness, recovery isn’t just about staying sober. It’s about reclaiming stability, rediscovering purpose, and growing in connection with others. We are a supportive co-living environment where residents are active participants in their healing.

Here, our model includes:

  • Intentional Structure
Residents follow a weekly rhythm that includes house meetings, goal-setting, and shared responsibilities - all designed to restore healthy habits and promote accountability.

  • Wellness Tools
We provide resources and guidance in mindfulness, reflection, movement, and emotional regulation to support long-term resilience.

  • Community-Led Growth
Residents take on leadership roles through our Ambassador Program, support each other through peer mentorship, and contribute to a culture of mutual care.

  • Employment Support
Through our I WILL Program (Initiative for Work, Independence, Learning & Living), residents who are unemployed receive structure and coaching to help them take their next step toward self-sufficiency.

  • Partnerships that Empower
We collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and wellness practitioners to increase access to healing services and opportunities.

Our Values

Our values shape everything we do, from how we welcome new residents to how we show up for one another each day.

  • Safety
We create a trauma-informed, judgment-free environment where healing can begin.

  • Health & Well-being
We believe in caring for the whole person—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

  • Growth & Continuous Improvement
We encourage self-reflection, resilience, and steady progress. Recovery is a lifelong journey, and we support growth every step of the way.

  • Connection
Recovery thrives in relationships. We nurture trust, openness, and shared experience to help residents feel seen and supported.

  • Community
Our home is more than a place to live. It is a space where people grow together, build social capital, and practice mutual support.

Where We’re Headed

We’re not just running a house, we’re building a movement. In the next five years, we aim to:

  • Hire a certified peer support specialist by January 2026

  • Publish books that amplify resident stories and fund our programs

  • Create employment opportunities for people in recovery

  • Expand our offerings to include Level 1 transitional housing for residents ready for more independence
