Answers to help you feel informed, supported, and at home.
Whether you're considering moving in or already part of our community, this page is here to help.

Our goal is to offer clarity and care so you can focus on what matters most: your recovery and growth.
-
We are a nonprofit recovery home for women and trans individuals, offering structured co-living, wellness-based support, and peer accountability. We are not a treatment center. We are a place to solidify your recovery and rebuild your life.
-
We welcome women and trans people who have at least 28 days of abstinence, are ready to live in community, and are committed to their recovery and personal growth.
About the Program
Living at Remember Wellness
-
Our home has space for up to 10 residents.
-
Yes. We offer shared bedrooms with high-quality furnishings and a peaceful, home-like atmosphere.
-
We prioritize accountability, mutual respect, and honesty. Residents participate in weekly house meetings, follow curfew, contribute to household chores, and commit to staying substance-free. Our full house rules can be viewed here.
-
In general, visitors are not permitted at Remember Wellness. The one exception is for residents with children.
No visitors of any kind are allowed during your first month in the home. After your first 30 days, your children may visit during daytime hours with advance notice. Visits must be coordinated with staff ahead of time and communicated to all residents.
Children are only permitted in shared common areas — not in bedrooms — and staff must have their full names and dates of birth on file.
Cost & Financial Info
-
Residents start at $100 per week. Rent increases every three months by $25, capping at $250 per week. A $100 one-time bed fee is due at move-in.
-
Once a resident reaches 6 months and is paying $150/week, they can request to freeze their rent at that rate for another 6 months.
-
Rent is due weekly at the Sunday house meeting. $200 is what’s needed to move in, covering your bed beed and first week of rent.
Support & Services
-
Residents participate in house meetings, breathwork, journaling, goal setting, and optional wellness workshops. We also support employment readiness, community engagement, and connection to outside meetings.
-
Residents who are unemployed at move-in are enrolled in the Initiative for Work, Independence, Learning & Living, which provides structure and accountability for job seeking during their first 30 days.
-
Yes. Residents are expected to attend at least two outside recovery meetings per week.
Residents with less than six months sobriety must attend four recovery meeting per week.
We’re flexible on format but consistency is required.

If you relapse, the most important thing we want you to know is: come home.
We do not punish honesty. As soon as you realize you’ve used, call staff and let them know. Staff will meet you at the house and guide you directly to the consult room. Our goal is to keep you safe while also minimizing impact on the rest of the community.
Once home, you will only be allowed in the consult room or the bathroom. If you need to use the bathroom, the door must remain open. If you arrive before staff, you should go straight to the consult room and wait.
When staff arrive, they will first assess your safety and check whether any harm occurred beyond the use itself. You’ll have space to share what happened and how you’re feeling. You’ll also be reminded that if you choose to go to a 30-day treatment program, we will hold your bed and your belongings will stay exactly where they are — you are welcome to return when your program is complete.
Staff will then begin calling detox centers to locate an open bed. Once one is confirmed, we arrange transportation and drive in tandem to make sure you are safely admitted.
Relapse is not the end of your recovery. At Remember Wellness, we treat it as a moment to intervene with care, not shame.

We are designed for long-term success, and most residents stay with us for about a year. The first three months are often about finding stability. Months 3 to 6 focus on growth and rebuilding. From 6 to 12 months, residents deepen their confidence, routines, and readiness for the next step.
While we don’t impose a strict timeline, we believe that the longer someone stays, the more opportunity they have to build lasting success—not just sobriety, but a strong foundation for life.
